2025 Craft Show

General Rules

• Maximum craft size in any category may not exceed 30" x 42" unless otherwise approved by the Show Chair.

Category Definitions:

• Category 1 - Needle Art
  • Class 1: Knitting, crocheting, weaving, fashion, fabric, etc.
  • Class 2: Cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, ribbon embroidery, etc.
• Category 2 – Decorative
  • Includes traditional ceramic work, wood burning, home decor, seasonal decor, etc.
• Category 3 – Wood
  • Small or large works of wood, hand turned, or carved
• Category 4 – Jewelry
  • Includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, ring pins made of any material, etc.
• Category 5 – Painting
  • Includes China, ceramics, toles, etc.
• Category 6 – Other
  • Includes pottery, dolls, beading, paper craft, leather, stained glass, etc. 

Judging & Pickup

Judging will take place on Friday, September 20. Experienced professionals will evaluate entries as art forms, considering creativity, composition, difficulty, and originality. The names of this year’s judges will be available at registration.

Helena McComb Award: A $500 award, awarded by the McComb family in memory of one of the Arts in the Alley co-founders, will be presented in addition to other awards in any category of the Arts in the Alley shows.

From the Photography show, one entry featuring flowers will be nominated by the Photography judges. The final decision for the Helena McComb Floral Award will be made on Sunday by the McComb family.
